I am aware that LCD screens are not the best for calibration but putting that aside.... which software would be best for LCD calibration --- the debate: Monacooptix or Eye one display (eventual upgrade to high price eye one photo).

Both have pros and cons, but as a PRO which would you buy (aside from a crt monitor that's a given, but that is not an option in this post).

I think ian had much good news to say about the monacooptix, but the possibility of destroying the lcd screen has me a little nervous. Does the eyeone also have potential to destroy screen?
