Hi Andrew

Thanks for the prompt profile (86) , I got it at the second attempt as the download was very stuttery but it unzipped OK.

I have run a few prints through using this profile and wondered if you could comment on the 3/4 tones which I am unhappy with. I would like to upload a photo of a grey ramp printout alongside a Koday Grey Scale. How do I do this?

I appreciate that I will not match a perfect greyscale card but the 3/4 tones, ie steps 15-18 on the 20 step ramp, are considerably lighter and more cyan than the rest of the ramp. Steps 1-15 are pretty good, in fact 1-10 are amazing. It's those pesky dark tones that are off.

Let me know how to upload an image, or email it to you, and you will see what I mean.

One last thing, do your profiles work best using Perceptual, Saturation or R.Col? I had a profile biult by David Tobie a while ago and he suggested using Sat. FWIW his profile also exhibits the same 3/4 tone issues as yours.

Cheers

Nick Rains
