I am preparing to take advantage of my free profile for my Canon S820 printer.

My first confusion was why I have to pick only one paper type. I actually use Canon Photo Paper Pro, Matte Photo Paper and Photo Paper Plus Glossy. Can't I request profiles for the three different Canon papers as part of the free profile offer?

I received three RGB targets when I followed the ordering process steps. TC918 RGB iCCOLOR 1_3.tiff, ...2_3.tiff and 3_3.tiff. No where in the profile preparation documentation does it explain that you need to print three different targets. Is this necessary?

Do I have to cut the resulting target images, or can I send them uncut as 8.5 x 11 sheets?

Photoshop 7.0 steps for printing targets.
Are the steps below logical and correct?
1) Open Target 1_3 and when Missing Profile screen comes up, select Leave as is [don't color manage]
2) Go to Print with Preview, select my printer and go into Canon S820 setup
3) In Canon S820 driver
Media Type : Photo Paper Pro [had to give a choice]
Print Quality : High
Color Adjustment : Manual [leave all sliders at zero], ICM : OFF
Printhead alignment : selected patterns that showed no flaws
4) At the main screen for Print and Preview
Color Management
Source space : Untagged RGB Print space : Same as Source
Print target

==========================

Once I receive the color profile for my Canon S820 for say, Photo Paper Pro, I want to confirm how to use it.
1) My own photos will usually be set to Source space : Adobe RGB (1998)
2) Go to Canon S820 print driver
Media type : Photo Paper Pro
Print Quality : High
Color Management set to : Manual [leave sliders all at zero]
3) When I go to Print and Preview in Photoshop 7.0
Color Management
Source Space : Adobe RGB (1998)
Set Print space : Canon S820 Photo Paper Pro [from Imaging Revue]

===========================

Did I get it all correct?

Thanks.
