The keypads of my six-week old 15" Powerbook G4 leave an "impression" of sorts on the screen. At first I thought this was some kind of dust or powder from the manufacturing process. The lines, which at first glance look like scratches, mirror the keypads, wipe off with a clean damp cloth (the manual suggests this for cleaning the screen). But once I close the Powerbook the impressions re-appear. My VAR is checking into this with Apple and said it may be a heat related issue. Has anyone else had this problem?
