AuthorSubject: Dual Display Configuration   [Go to Bottom of Page]

I have just begun working with a dual display setup. After working for years with just one Apple Cinema Display, I now have two. Everything works exactly as it should and the added real estate, when working in PS7, is wonderful, but it is very hard getting used to the concept of dual displays and I often spend more time than I would like hunting for the mouse cursor.

So the question: For those of you who work with dual displays, have you found a preferred configuration? As for their physical placement, do you have them side-by-side or in a spread V configuration or something else?

Also, do you use one display as the primary and the second only for PS pallettes, browser, etc. or do you spread applications over the entire desktop to use it a unified whole?

I am in the process of experimenting, but thought some of you may have some helpful hints to ease the transition.

Thanks,

Joe
