Before I do something daft and get VSF (very severely, er.. flamed), may I ask whether it is the intent of the management of this site to allow us subscribers to post a link to one of our own images on a web server somewhere, and then proceed to ask the experts, "Gee, what I'm trying to do is this'n'that, what would you (experts) do as the best way of achieving this with PS?"

For example, I would post a link to http://blah/blah/image.jpg (or image.psd?), and then say, "I'm trying to get some snap into this or that part of the image, how would you PS gurus attain this?"

Or would such an approach bring down the wrath of said management upon us and our offspring?

I make this bold request seeing as I own copies of books written by Katrin and Martin and it appears that they may be kind enough to respond--but I've not seen anybody else doing what I'm suggesting (this latter could be because I am more ignorant of PS than other subscribers--but the good news is that _that_ ignorance can be cured).

... this thread contains expert advice from Andrew Rodney, Jeff Schewe, Katrin Eismann, Bruce Fraser, Martin Evening and Anthony Cardinale.
