AuthorSubject: PS CS Actions   [Go to Bottom of Page]

I've read the dozens of articles, watched dozens of video clips, and can't find the answer, so...

Is the handling of actions done better in CS than in PS 7? By that I don't mean the functions that are scriptable or action-able, but how well large quanities of actions can be dealt with?

I may have too many actions, but if I switch to button mode, it takes up 5 columns top-to-bottom for my general-use ones, and I'd prefer to be able to deal with a smaller set. Many are merely sub-actions called by others, and even permitting hiding those would help.

My current solution is to use OneClick to make palettes that invoke Photoshop Actions, but since CS doesn't run on OS 9, that option will no longer be available. Any suggestions? Built-in or third party tools for OS X are fine

Note: I'm not a keyboard-shortcut fan, and memorizing a hundred more keystrokes isn't high on the list of preferred options.
