In PS 7, using Camera Raw, I would create an action to color correct and downres RAW files into tiny JPEGs. Here is the process from my own notes:

>Set Photoshop action for preliminary color correction
-Create Action
-Name action the same as job #, example: 03-189
-Open an image in Adobe Camera Raw
-Set sliders
-Set bit depth (8 bit)
-Save and name slider settings using same job number 03-189
-Check box "Only display this dialog..." in lower LH corner. (important!)
-Select OK
-Back to Photoshop menu, select File>Save As>(Format)JPEG>(Where)
03-189 Teacher Jpegs>
-Check the following boxes: Save as copy, embed color profile, ALL image preview
-Click save, you will then see a JPEG option screen
-Quality: select 1, Format: select baseline
-Click OK
-Stop recording Action
-Close image
-Don't save
-Remove rendered file from folder to avoid duplication

Here are the problems that I'm now having with CS and Panther:

1. I can't select the destination folder when saving. I can only put the save files on one of the hard drives or recent folders. I can't seem to make my new destination folder a "recent" folder either.

2. I don't have the click box in ACR II to make the selections "sticky" when I run the action via droplet, although I haven't gotten that far yet.

Any suggestions?
