Jo Ann Walters
Posted on Fri Nov 28, 2003 2:12 PM Dear Image Revue Experts,

I am a photographic artist and educator interested in making sophisticated ink jet prints on the Epson 2200 and the 4000. I am also interested in preparing files for LIGHT Jet/ Lamda prints. I work with 6/7mm color negatives.

I am looking to purchase a new monitor and software to calibrate and profile scanner, display and output device to use with my Epson printers and a
service bureau. Ive listed some possibilities below.

>Am I thinking about this in the right way?

>Are there overlapping features that are redundant?

>Which system would you recommend? (1st, 2nd, 3rd best, other?)

Possible Options

1. Sony Artisan with GretagMacbeth Eye One Photo

2. Sony Artisan with EyeOne Publish

3. Lacie 22 Blue with EyeOne Photo

4. Lacie 22 Blue with Eye One Publish

5. Sony Artisan (have profiles made by expert)

6. Lacie 22 in. Blue (have profiles made by expert)
7. Other combination

Thank you, Prof. J. Walters
