AuthorSubject: Silverfast 6.1 in CS problem   [Go to Bottom of Page]

I inadvertantly installed Nikon Scan 3 for the LS4000 in CS before I installed silverfast 6.1. When I tried scanning with Silverfast, the colors were garish and way off (even with no color management), while NikonScan was giving me accurate colors. I called Silverfast (yes $$$) because I was not getting a good response with email. They said there was a conflict between NikonScan driver and their Nikon Driver, that I should get rid of the NikonScan software and reinstall Silverfast. I did, and when I reinstalled Silverfast it opened right up and didn't request the serial number which leads me to believe that I never got rid of everything before reinstalling. I searched for everything possible and went through the process again. Same result, same garish scans. Any ideas? Anyone have a similar problem? I am running OS 10.2.8.
