A client likes some sample Epson prints I have prepared using the Photokit -- Toning Set -- Sepia #2 -- on some RGB files (shot originally with digital capture). I know from previous discussions it would probably be better for me to do the conversions to CMYK and to soft proof them before handing the files off to the lithographer. But, I am not yet that comfortable making those conversions and would prefer to deliver the RGB files and and Epson print as a guide for color. Should I leave the layers intact in the file (Sepia and Background) or flatten it first? Since this "action" works so quickly I don't really understand HOW it works, since it almost appears to be a tint mask of some sort over the Background layer.
