With the new CS File Browser when I open a file of Nefs most of the thumbnails will have, if they are landscape, two heavy black horizontal lines one above the image and one below. If the image is portrait, the two black lines at vertical on the left and the right.

When I highlight the thumbnail the preview of it comes up heavily pixelated. Now sometimes this heavy pixelazation will, in a few moments, snap to a clear image as the black lines disappear. Then the image operates normally. However, half the time the black lines do not disappear, the preview images remains heavily pixelated, and when I double-click on the image to open it into ACR, I get an error message stating that that operation cannot be done.

The only fix for this I can find so far is to close PS and restart it the the necessary keys held down to reset the 'Settings." This will work for a while and then I will hit a thumbnail that won't clear up and I am off to the races again. In addition, by resetting the setting, I lose all my ' flag' work on the thumbnails.

I am going to be one-hundred-and-ten before I even get through the past shoot of 500 images or so.

So far all I hear from Adobe is, "I am not really surprised at that?" That I find funny because I don't remember reading about this new feature in any of the CS upgrade promotion material.

I am running Mac OS 10.3.2 on a G5 2 gig dual processor witk 2gigs of RAM

Any ideas?? :confused
