I really think you guys need to improve the PDF you provide for working with your custom profiles. In my view it is one of the worst pieces of documentation I have ever seen. Just look at the number of posts people have made asking the most basic questions; that should tell you you need to improve this document.

A quick review of the PDF reveals a rather unusual sense of organization. For example, there are several bold headings in the docuemnt which should denote the overall organization of the document. The first heading is: "How to prepare a file for output...", the next is: "For Epson (Mac) Users" and then there really aren't any further bold headings. At the end comes a list of questions. Your PDF does have useful information in it but it is poorly organized, incomplete and not well written.

It seems to me that after reading an overview most people will first want to know how to print the target (test) page, next they will want to know how to install the finished profile, finally they will want to know how to use the profile.
There may be, of course, a need for sub-sections on how to do things in Mac vs PC and for printers by manufacturer or model.

I think if you invest a little time in improving the PDF you will spend less time answering questions on this forum and you will also have happier customers/members.
