AuthorSubject: Printing test file for ICC profile   [Go to Bottom of Page]

Hi,
I joined this site last week and am trying to print up the test files to send for my ICC profile. I've read thru the FAQ and instructions but I'm new at this so I'm confused. The instructions deal with Photoshop 5 and 6 not CS and I have the R800 so my driver profile is not the same either. Please tell me if I'm doing this correctly.
1: I open the test file in Photoshop CS
2: Under file I open print with preview. this gives me a pull down called colormanagement or output. I leave it on color mangement and check the box document untagged rgb under source page rather than proof. Under print space I leave it same as source.
Now my Question. Do I just hit print from here or do I go into the page set up, then printer, then properties and set the printer driver with best photo, premium glossy (that is the paper I'm using on this printer). Then under the advanced tab set the color mangement either to 1:color controls 2:Photo enhance 3:ICM
Under color controls I can set it to epson standerd or epson vivid
Under ICM I can set it to off or applied by printer

What I think I have to do is set it to ICM with ICC/ICM profile off.

I hope I have not confused things to much. Any help will be greatly appreciate.
Adolfo
