Sorry I posted this question to the wrong area. At any rate, it might be best answered by Jeff but I welcome any feedback.

Jeff, in your article re. white balance, you use a macbeth chart. Is there a reason you would or would not use this method vs. another? One other method I wondered if anyone had used with success would be the diffuser that one puts over the lens to shoot a neutral frame first. www.expodisc.com has one such device. I would assume with an average subject it would work well, but question if there could be subject failure problems if the subject was heavily weighted to one color or another? Any thoughts?
