AuthorSubject: Epson 4000 printing preferences - paper parameters not saved   [Go to Bottom of Page]

I just installed an Epson 4000 for a client, running under Windows XP. I attempted to create printing preferences presets, using the "save settings" in the advanced section. However, the paper size and feed type (roll feed, manual, etc.) are now under a separate tab from the Main tab, and are not retained in the saved settings.

For example, I created a set for Premium Semimatte at 1440 dpi and color adjustment off, with a 16x20 borderless size and roll paper feed type. The paper type, resolution, and color adjustment off are all retained in the saved settings. However, when selected from either the Start-Settings-Printers or from an application, the paper parameters are whatever was set up last, and are not retained in the saved settings.

On other Epson printers (2200, R800, 1280) the paper size and feed type are saved under a specific name. Has anyone found a workaround for the 4000?
